Hello, hope everyone has been enjoying the summer - it's been lovely but I am longing for some autumn days now & I know most people won't agree with me but I loved the rain the other day - it made me want to dance in it! This first picture is one I did quite a while ago but forgot to put on here - it's called 'special gifts' & I'm particularly fond of the flowers - I may do a similar picture of just the flowers...

Open Day - Thank you!

Just a quick post to say thank you to everyone who came to my open day today. Thought I'd share with you some photos I took of the day (our house doesn't generally look so tidy!)

Open day...

Folksy flowers & apples!

I did a workshop last week in which we looked at working on a black background - theses were my demonstration pictures. I must admit I'm really pleased with them as I love anything with an alpine/Bavarian look to it.

This is a special one for Rebeka from the lovely owlsandpears.com website. You know I love pears but I have an equal obsession with all things apple!

It's been a while...!

I'm so sorry I haven't blogged for ages - I don't really know where the time has gone! I have been busy making some new designs though & a real selection of different themes - this first one is very 1960s inspired & optimisic! I carried on the yellow theme with my new baby design - I think the summer days have affected my colour palette! Hope you enjoy...

The Royal Wedding...

I have been making these union -jack pictures with the Royal Wedding in mind using lovely faded, worn materials & floral prints! They're quite addictive to make - once I started one, I just wanted to move onto another! I actually started making them for a street party we are having at work which should be fun!- Enjoy the bank holiday whatever you're doing!
