Snow days..

I've been enjoying the snow days cuddled up inside the house! - It's a shame about the disruption it causes though - I've had to postpone a christmas workshop & cancel a cafe art group with disabled people - all in the last few days! - It's inspiring me to do more christmas card designs though...
A while ago I was given the remnants of an old patchwork quilt. The tree in this picture is made from a piece of it & I call it 'silent night'.

Happy hoildays...

Here are a few more christmas designs to get you in the mood! I have been doing a big order of cards for a post office on the Isle of Arran & they asked me if I could do a highland cow ! - I have been doing a lot of festive critters at the moment & I saw a very cute hedgehog this afternoon & am very tempted...!

Blackthorpe Barn...

Next weekend I will be having a stall at Blackthorpe Barn - I've never done it before but it looks really exciting! It has a strict hand-made only policy so should be great for buying some unique gifts for christmas. I will be there 13-14th of November 10am-5pm so please come along & say hello!

Christmas designs

Here are a few new christmas designs - the trees were inspired by Sanna Annuka - an illustator whose work I love!

This little carol singer is really both my daughters when they were very young!

New creations...

Here are some of the new pictures I have been working on. - The sunflowers were actually a commission for someone & the apples I was inspired to do from all the apples I've been cooking with lately - I just love them for apples cake, pies & crumble & thought that they are particularly seasonal!
