April thoughts...

As Alie is preparing her floristry skill for the wedding season I've been looking at lots of posies of roses resulting in these 2 pictures. 

Delilah & I have been looking at bees collecting pollen recently...

You probably all know by now that I have to do an apple picture on a regular basis!

This candy colour fabric made me think of sugar mice!

Me & Helena have a 'French Style Lavender bag' workshop at Writtle Village on Tuesday. 9th of April    from 7.30 onwards. - Come & create something beautiful using vintage embroidered table cloths whilst drinking in a bit of the French good life! Wellington boots etc!

Rob & I bought our girls beautiful Wellingtons for christmas & this inspired the following 2 pictures.

The wellington fabric in this picture is a piece of a much loved dress of Georgia's which became too worn to wear anymore - she still misses it! ... but at least it lives on in a picture!

... In Alie's case, the more roses the better - you can't really get too many!

This is one I started before christmas - a slighlty chunky, lovely christmas dancer!

Looking to warmer weather - a cottage in a meadow.

Merry Christmas everybody! Alie's search for an ice skate  christmas decoration led me to do this picture & I have to say I'm really pleased with it - I really love blue & brown together! 

A continuation of this was thinking about the nutcracker & how I loved the ballet!
